How to see who unfollowed you on Instagram, Threads or TikTok

UnfollowerTracker

A data export is a snapshot: your followers on the day you requested it. On its own it can tell you who doesn't follow you back, but not who stopped following you. For that you need two snapshots.

Compare two exports

Request an export today, and another one later — a week, a month, whatever suits you. Add both to the checker. We compare the two follower lists and show:

  • Unfollowed you — in the older export's followers, not in the newer one's.
  • New followers — in the newer export's followers only.

You can do this without an account: drop the newer export, then add the older one below the results.

Or let your history do it

Keeping old .zip files around gets messy. Save an export to a free account and it becomes your starting point; the next export you add compares itself to it automatically. Free accounts keep your last two exports, paid plans keep them all.

What "unfollowed you" really means

It means "was a follower then, isn't now". That includes people who chose to unfollow you, but also accounts that were deactivated, deleted or renamed since the older export. Treat the list as a starting point, not proof.

Why it can't be automatic

Instagram, Threads and TikTok don't let other apps read your follower list. Apps that alert you the moment someone unfollows you have to log in as you to do it. The export-based way is slower, but your password never leaves your hands.
