Draft — this text describes how the product actually works, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer and doesn't yet name the company that operates the service.
The short version
- Checking an export happens in your browser. The file is never uploaded.
- We never ask for, see or store your Instagram, Threads or TikTok password.
- If you save a check, we store two lists of usernames — nothing else from the file.
- You can delete any saved export, any profile, or your whole account, at any time.
Your export file
When you add an export, your browser opens it on your device and reads only the files that hold your followers and the accounts you follow. Messages, photos, comments and everything else in the archive are not read. The file is not sent to us or to anyone else, whether or not you have an account.
What we store when you save a check
Saving is optional and needs an account. When you save, we store: the platform, the username you tell us the export belongs to, the export date, and the usernames in your follower and following lists, with their counts. We do not store display names, profile pictures or anything else about those accounts.
Those usernames belong to other people. We keep them only to show you your own history, never show them to anyone else, never use them to contact anyone, and never sell or share them. Our own staff tools show counts, not lists.
Free accounts keep the last two exports of each profile; saving a newer one deletes the oldest. Paid plans keep exports until you delete them.
Your account
To create an account we store your email address, and your name and picture if you sign in with Google. Sign-in emails are sent through Resend. If you subscribe, Stripe handles payment; we receive your subscription status, never your card details.
Stored on your device
- A sign-in cookie, only if you sign in.
- Your light or dark theme preference.
- If you choose “Save to my history” before signing in, your two lists wait in your browser's local storage for up to an hour so they survive the sign-in, and are removed when you save or discard them.
We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.
Deleting your data
Delete a single export or a whole profile from its page; delete everything from Settings → Delete account. Deleting an account removes its profiles and every saved list immediately and cancels any subscription.
